Good Friday Reflections

I woke up to darkness and pounding rain on the morning of Good Friday.

I woke up to darkness and pounding rain on the morning of Good Friday.

Then, I started to think about what our Pro-Life Stations of the Cross would look like in pouring rain. Anxiety settled in, and I began doubting the “why” of the entire event. But then I said a quick prayer and brushed it off, saying to myself, “The rains will be over and gone by the time we begin to make the journey to that awful place. Everything is going to be alright.”

An Open Letter to President Trump: Republished

Dear President Trump,

Congratulations on becoming the 47th president of the United States of America! You have faced insurmountable odds, including attempts on your very life, and you have won a hard battle. May God bless you as you prepare to return to the White House next January.

But do not forget those who put you back into office, Mr. President. Pro-life voters turned to you to stave off a Harris presidency that would have brought abortion-on-demand up until birth into every corner of the United States; blue, red, and purple counties alike.

Racine Firehouse Installs First Safe Haven Baby ...

Every three to four days, a baby is abandoned in America. Despite that all 50 states have enacted the Safe Haven Law, which allows women in crisis to safely surrender their newborns without facing consequences or prosecution, babies are discarded in dumpsters or other hazardous locations and left to die.

However, thanks to efforts by the Racine Fire Department, Racine Knights of Columbus, Council 15659, Pro-Life Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Right to Life, the first Safe Haven Baby Box located on the outside of Racine’s Fire Station 4, 3829 Washington Ave., Racine, WI, will serve as a secure place where a parent can safely and anonymously place their newborn.

“Christmas Truce” Saves A Life at PLW “Caroling ...

Something happened this year at our annual Christmas Caroling to an Empty Manger Day event that has never happened before. One of the abortion escorts (the workers who walk women into the abortion center) asked if she could have a copy of our songbook, so I gave her one. Since many of the escorts seemed like they were enjoying our Christmas caroling, I decided to offer a songbook to all of them…

Saved from Abortion...

I wish you could all be in my shoes at moments like these. When you are directly or indirectly involved in the life of a baby saved from abortion, it makes your heart soar with joy!

The speech Bishop Morlino never got to hear...

The first time I met Bishop Morlino was in pebble-stone parking lot of what is now the Women’s Care Center.

Just Another Girl's Story...

Even though it happened 34 years ago, I vividly remember the day I learned I was pregnant for the first time. It was September 23, 1983, and it was my sixteenth birthday.

Pro-Life Report from Peggy Hamill

As we try to combat an evil culture of death, it is imperative that we speak up for preborn babies who have been dehumanized and cannot speak for themselves.
