Baby Saved – Look at the Ultrasound

BABY SAVED – LOOK AT THE ULTRASOUND

It was a particularly busy day on the sidewalks outside of the local abortion facility, and many pro-life Wisconsinites were holding our brand new “look at the ultrasound” signs which were inspired by a Pro-Life Wisconsin supporter, Mike.

Mike had recently attended a presentation by Sue Thayer, Outreach Director for 40 Days for Life, and was inspired by a sign she referenced that read, “look at the ultrasound.” He called Pro-Life Wisconsin shortly after the presentation and asked if we could design and print a similar sign for him to hold while on the sidewalks outside the abortion facility. We of course agreed and made up 30.

Fast forward to this busy day on the sidewalks, and we decided to distribute the signs to all those present praying, including Mike. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to us, a pregnant mom happened to stop by the local pregnancy resource center. She thought she was at the abortion facility for her appointment, but once she figured out she was at the “wrong place,” she left the pregnancy resource center and headed for the abortion facility. However, when she approached the abortion facility, she saw a multitude of pro-lifers holding the sign that read "look at the ultrasound.” She stopped in her tracks, turned around, and returned to the pregnancy resource center. Upon her return, she mentioned how she had seen people holding signs that said “look at the ultrasound,” and asked if she could have a free ultrasound to look at. The pregnancy resource immediately agreed. The woman fell in love with her baby and decided not to have the abortion right then and there!

BABY SAVED!

The prayerful presence of pro-lifers on the sidewalks and the local pregnancy resource center made all difference that day. If it hadn’t been for the inspiration from Sue Thayer, the prompting from our Pro-Life Wisconsin supporter, Mike, the dedication of all those holding the “look at the ultrasound” signs, and the work of the pregnancy resource center, this baby would have never made it!

So, THANK YOU! Your prayers and presence are never in vain.

See you on the sidewalks.
