Statement on the Third Anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson Decision, June 24, 2025

For Immediate Release: June 24, 2025

(Brookfield, WI) – Today, June 24, 2025, marks the third anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization U.S. Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade. Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director Dan Miller offers his remarks on this significant day in the Pro-Life Movement:

The Dobbs decision has saved hundreds of thousands of babies from abortion in America. We thank God that our United States Supreme Court finally did something about this egregious overreach of power and legislating from the bench by their predecessors. Now it is up to the federal government to do for the babies what they did for African American slaves, namely, recognize them as persons—at fertilization—and enforce their rights under the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. States have no more a right to murder babies in the womb than we do to own slaves in the 21st century.

 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Section 1, Right: 

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws (emphasis added).
