Seven buses filled with eager pro-lifers from all over Wisconsin participated in the 2018 March for Life Chicago on Sunday January 14, 2018. Although the bitter cold could have deterred many from making the day trip, Wisconsinites braved the weather and enthusiastically showed their Love for Life in Federal Plaza. With 16 pickup sites in Wisconsin, many pro-lifers began their day as early as 6 AM to catch a PLW bus to get to Chicago in time for the March. Pro-Life Wisconsin volunteers served as bus captains and helped make the ride to and from Chicago pleasant and prayerful.

The March began at 2 PM with a lineup of inspiring speakers, including Pat McCaskey, Co-owner of the Chicago Bears, His Excellency, Bishop Donald J. Hying, Bishop of Gary, Indiana, and Ramona Trevino, Former Planned Parenthood Director, Author of “Redeemed by Grace”, to name a few. Afterwards, hundreds of Wisconsin pro-lifers joined the thousands of fellow pro-lifers marching through the streets of Chicago, praying, chanting, singing and waving Pro-Life Wisconsin signs. After walking about a mile, the event concluded around 4 PM. We are grateful that so many from our state could join us for such an incredible day to remind Chicago (and the world!) that Love Saves Lives.

Special thanks to the dozens of Knights of Columbus Councils throughout the state who generously supported our annual pilgrimage to Chicago for the March for Life.
